This agreement is added to the existing application and must be accepted before submission.
1. About the Market
Polk County Pagan Market is a community first event focused on pagans, spiritualists, and like minded individuals. We welcome vendors offering occult and metaphysical goods, crystals, herbs, spiritual items, art, crafts, oddities, handmade goods, food, and beverages.
This is not a profit first event. Booth fees are kept low to support the community, not exploit it. If your goal is to maximize profit at the expense of the community, this is not the event for you.
2. Vendor Conduct and Community Standards
All vendors agree to maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment. No proselytizing. No harassment. No hate speech. No discrimination based on religion, sexuality, identity, or lifestyle.
3. Product Honesty and Disclosure
Resellers must disclose that items are resold during application. No misleading or false product claims. Crystals, stones, and similar items must be clearly labeled if they are not authentic or if authenticity is unknown. Do not sell something as one thing if it is not that thing.
4. Product Approval and Category Enforcement
Vendors are approved based on the products and category listed in their application and must sell only the items they were approved for.
The following is not allowed: showing up with completely different products than what was approved, switching product categories without approval, or selling items outside your approved category.
If you wish to sell a different type of product than what you originally applied for, you must submit a new application under the correct category, or reach out by email for approval if it is a small or last minute addition or change.
Polk County Pagan Market limits vendor types to maintain variety, fairness, and balance within the market. Vendors who violate this policy may be asked to remove unapproved items or may be removed from the event without refund.
5. Pricing Expectations
Vendors must use fair and reasonable pricing. Price gouging is not allowed. Vendors found to be taking advantage of customers may be removed from the event.
6. Booth Space and Sales Rules
Vendors must stay within their assigned booth space. No wandering sales. Do not leave your booth to sell in other vendor areas. Respect neighboring booths and the event layout.
7. Parking Rules
Each vendor is limited to one vehicle in their assigned booth space parking area. Do not use other vendors' parking spots. If bringing multiple vehicles, extra vehicles must be unloaded and moved so the layout is not disrupted.
8. Camping and Overnight Stay
Vendors may camp onsite from the day before the event through the day after the event, generally Friday evening through Sunday. Camping in your booth space and RV use are allowed where space permits.
9. Setup and Breakdown
Vendors must be fully set up before market opening and may not break down early without approval.
10. No Show and Reservation Policy
If a vendor reserves a space and does not show up, they lose future reservation privileges unless they pay ahead. Future spaces may be limited to whatever remains available.
11. Payments and Refunds
Booth fees are non refundable. No refunds for cancellations or no shows. The event is rain or shine. If Polk County Pagan Market cancels the event, a refund or credit may be offered.
12. Weather Policy
Vendors are responsible for securing tents and protecting their own setup, inventory, and property. Tent weights are strongly expected.
13. Liability Waiver
Polk County Pagan Market is not responsible for theft, damage, injury, accidents, weather related loss, or loss of vendor property. Vendors participate at their own risk.
14. Legal Compliance
Vendors are responsible for following all local, state, and federal laws and obtaining any permits required for their products or operation. No illegal goods are allowed.
15. Food Vendors
Food vendors must follow all health and safety requirements and obtain any permits required by law.
16. Right to Remove Vendor
Polk County Pagan Market reserves the right to remove any vendor for price gouging, misrepresentation, disruptive behavior, discrimination, harassment, or violation of these rules. Removal may occur without refund.
17. Media and Promotion
By participating, vendors agree that photos and videos of booths, displays, and products may be used for Polk County Pagan Market promotional purposes.
18. Vendor Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for their booth, staff, conduct, and anyone operating within their assigned area.
